Have you seen specialists, tried acupuncture, used natural therapy, made dietary changes, and taken various medications but had little or no outcomes for your headaches and migraines? Are you seeking a headache treatment that works?
Here at Physio Ready we may have a solution for your headaches and migraines.
In recent studies evidence is showing that in majority of headaches and migraines an area called the brainstem is being sensitised leading to headaches and migraines. The brainstem is responsible for processing information received from the face and neck and if it is sensitised you are more likely to suffer from headache symptoms.
When the brainstem is overloaded with signals it can produce symptoms of pain, headaches, and migraines. Luckily if we can reduce the sensitivity in the brainstem your headaches and migraines can decrease! There can be several factors that increase the sensitivity in the brainstem, but the upper joints of the neck, visual control and balance has been found to be the major contributors.
This is where we can help at Physio Ready. Our Physiotherapists are trained to go through a detailed assessment of the upper joints of the neck, visual control, and balance. If our physiotherapists identify that either your neck, visual control or balance is an issue they are very likely to be able to help you overcome your headaches and migraines.
The assessment and treatment process involves no medication, no scans and is safe and evidence-based method. Assessment and treatment will involve a hands-on based treatment approach and a hands-off based treatment approach. Initial consultations will go for an hour and our physiotherapists will take the time required to give you a solution.
If you have tried everything and are left frustrated with your headaches and migraines let us help you provide a solution for you.
